Antique German Putz Lot of 23 Miniature Bird Figures Christmas Village Erzgebirge

Offered here is an antique mixed lot of putz wooden composition miniature bird figures, hand painted and fitted with metal/wire legs and feet, in the classic Erzgebirge folk art / Christmas putz village style.

The lot includes a variety of 23 birds—farm birds and waterfowl—with differing poses (standing and seated). Most examples show “Germany” markings on the underside, a few are unmarked on the bottom or difficult to make out.

This lot includes a wide variety of birds such as Chickens (roosters + hens), Turkey, Pheasant, Ducks, Geese, Swan, Stork, Heron, etc., and even a Flamingo.

These are ideal for Christmas putz or holiday village displays.

General paint wear, scuffs, and chips consistent with age. Some figures show old glue residue, repairs, or hairline cracks

Metal legs/feet may be slightly bent or uneven from age and storage. Stability varies between figures. Undersides are rough-carved; some show “Germany” marking
