Antique Rumford Baking Powder Advertising Premium 5 Pc Measuring Serving Spoons
A total of five unique advertising premium serving spoons, c.1900-1910, promoting Rumford "The Wholesome Baking Powder". Solid metal composition shows several different pierced-design and shaped serving ends - some rounded, some pointed - with either a double or single stem leading to the handles. All handle sections have two "flattened" sections with raised block text "Rumford, The Wholesome Baking Powder". One piece has a handle end that doubles as a bottle opener; the only solid serving ended piece also functions as a measuring ladle (1 teaspoon up to 2 tablespoons).
The five pieces measure no less than 10 1/2" Long.
Good. Metal wear, scratching, and some signs of nicks and edge-rounding from previous use evident on the serving ends and stems. A few pieces with some rust. Soundly shaped pieces. Raised lettering is not faded or rubbed and still entirely legible.
